Is this BRILLIANT framing system TOO AFFORDABLE to be TRUE ? NO Sir, It’s only encouraging you to buy four, or MORE and create a “ Gallery Wall “ and it’s working for us already!! Because, you know Gallery Walls are all the rage now. This frame is made of sturdy, stylish wood-looking material that has an attractive “ goes with “ matte finish in a mid toned brown. Not dark, not light, but a color that will go with most any interior. The matte is a soft Ivory color, not cold dead bright white and not beige. This hinged frame is fronted with ( child and adult safe ) clear plastic in place of glass and has its own matte, to surround and enhance your artwork. To access your ( hidden ) A R T c o l l e c t i o n, simply open the hinged front where your current piece on display will be held in place securely by a set of small bendable tabs that keep it safe behind “ glass .†There, behind your currently featured work in display, is a place to store the rest of your collection. What better place to keep your watercolors, prints, crayon drawings, pastels, gouaches, pen or pencil illustrations? What about a nice egg tempera or two? maybe eventually a copperplate engraving or dry point etching? A collage or photo? But I digress.. all will fit, if under the size described below. The absolute beauty and brilliance of this product is that it’s not only a framing system that makes changing what’s on display as easy as possible, it’s also your new Art Archives.. where your collection can be carefully stored away from the destructive effects of UV light, dust and grease from human hands!* You might consider scanning your art before housing it here, for your future records ;) *This frame comfortably holds works in the ever popular 8 1/2 x 11†format, also known as “ Letter “ size paper. The full display area actually measures 8 3/16 x 10 5/8†which is with the matte removed. With the matte left in place, the display area measures 8 3/4 x 9 1/4.†Beyond these features, there is more.. if that’s possible. It is! As this frame may be removed and rehung with more frequency than other artwork, it comes along with more self adhesive bumpers than you need, should you lose one or two. These are provided to be applied to the bottom rear corners to protect your wall. To hang this, included as well is its own “nail free†hanging system which uses a series of small pins set in the hanger so that, to be tapped gently into plaster, wood or drywall. When removed, the only thing you’ll see are some teeniny pin-sized holes left in the wall at the former location of each hanger. So small that they could be filled with paint, not even a patch. How Conservation-Minded!We are IN LOVE with this framing system and have already put four more in our cart. Our relatives are also purchasing a set. the more people you tell, the more will sell. It’s the best way to thank the manufacturer from stopping people from hanging their art with Blue Tape, heh heh.AAA Product - H I G H L Y RECCOMMENDED.

My toddler does A LOT of art projects at daycare. I thought this would be a great way to display and store them. The front is a thin bendy type plastic plex glass so it's pretty cheaply made but you really wouldn't know it just from looking. I like the magnetic closure of the frame and I like that the hangers on the back are made that you can easily switch the layout. I don't like that it's difficult to secure the picture to the inside of the frame. Comes with a "tool" to help flip up the tabs, I supose you could use the tabs to hold down the paper. The frame came with these weird stabbing things to hang it with. I choose not to use them because making 8 tiny holes in my wall seemed weird to do. I just used 2 tac nails. Overall, I like the price, the quality of the frame is adequate for the price and it does look really nice.

I thought the frame would be better quality and would have a glass piece in the frame but it was plastic and cracked with the slightest pressure after receiving it. Art work fits well in the frame and looks cute

I love that this frame is at least half the price of others like it on the market but I am thoroughly unimpressed with the quality. This frame has staples poking through into the inside and the elastics seem poorly secured. You can't see these imperfections when the frame is shut but the hole thing feels pretty cheap and flimsy. I am not holding out hope that it will hold up will over time.

Perfect frame to display my toddler’s "art". If you’re a parent, then you know how much “art†our wonderful little ones create. You also know how much of a heartless monster you feel like when you no longer have room for it and throw a few older works of “art†in the garbage. This solved that for us. When my little guy makes a new piece of “art†we have him put it in his frame which he loves to do and when it starts to get to full, we explain he needs to get rid of some and keep only his “masterpiecesâ€.It is definitely low cost, but it actually looks very nice displayed in our kitchen. I see several other reviews commenting it's plastic and yes, it is, which we like because it wouldn't last a day if it were glass with our little guy. Overall, we are happy with it.

This is perfect for keeping my kids artwork and not piling it up in a junk drawer so i don't feel guilty for getting rid of it. There are straps to hold multiple pieces so you can swap and store as needed. It went together easily and is kept closed by magnet. I only needed to use 2 of the hangers since the work in both directons so i have extras if needed in the future. The durability is a bit questionable but so far so good! A nice addition to my kitchen and my kid loves seeing their artwork framed so its a win for everybody.

This is a nice frame to display artwork. It's not glass, but plastic might be lighter and safer for a frame that will be opened and closed frequently. Instructions did say to peel off a plastic liner from either side of the plastic but there was no liner... Also, unfortunately, there are 2 indents that caused small cracks in the acrylic. It's not as clear pictured, but sadly more obvious when looking at it in person.
