OK, so I didn't use them for a speaker. I used them for a very expensive Grandfather clock to replace the fabric that was originally on it (before the gorillas that moved the clock ripped it in half). It worked perfectly. The tubular chimes rang clearly through the cloth and I was extremely pleased.

This high-quality, thin fabric offers a snug fit without sagging, perfect for home speakers. For installation, use a large work surface and consider painting the frame to match the cloth. I find this grill cloth easier to install and more visually appealing than others. The price is reasonable, and the uniform color matches standard black well. I'm very pleased with this product.

Just be sure to use the right glue IF that's what you're using to attach the cloth to the doors.

Not sure why this off-tint piece of polyester is called "speaker cloth." Ordered white but it is slightly blue as if run in the washing machine with a new blue t-shirt. Returned.

Overall, I like this speaker grill cloth. It is a bit thinner than I was expecting, though. I will need to be sure to black out the forward facing portion of the cabinet that this will be covering. Otherwise, I am concerned that screws and hardware will be visible.

Review for FINUFA Speaker Grill Cloth, black This is pretty good quality, thin, with just enough stretch to pull tight in each direction, while not drooping afterwards. This is intended for home speakers, and is geared for esthetics: not for sound system or guitar speaker grills, where you'd want a stiffer fabric that offers some protection. Take your time installing it, on a large enough work surface to lay the cloth out flat for cutting and mounting. If your frame is a different color than the grill cloth, consider pre-painting the frame with a close color, since a significantly lighter or darker frame may show through the cloth. I've worked with a few other grill cloths before: this one is easier to install than the ones I've used before, and looks better when completed. The cost is reasonable.

This speaker fabric is excellent. It has a consistent color and is a great match for a standard black. The fabric was easy to work with as well. I’m very happy with this product.
