These visually are beautiful. Metal handles heavy but aluminum so not really. Basically you can tell your not holding plastic handles and will not break from "normal" use. Perfect diameter handle for kids first light sabers (mine are 5 and 9). I got the 32" blades and they are perfect length for the kids especially because i bought the dual pack for them both so each is getting one saber individually and more often than not will not be connected to make a double blade. Even the blade option that was only 2 inches longer would have been fine. And probably would have gone that rought if i wasbto donit again. Cons well they are not "starwars" brand so the intitial light up is close to sounding correct. The hum is constant and doesn't "swoosh" when you swing. And when you hit the sabers against each other it has more of an 80s laser blaster sound than the correct clash. BUT.... that being said these are I'm my opinion PERFECT first sabers for your kids. They won't know the difference. And why spend 3 to 10 times the money for them to just sound exactly correct when they might just grow out of it in a year or two. Save the big dollar sabers for when they are older and show a lasting love for the movies.

The lightsaber is good and sturdy. The only issue is that the plastic on the top can come off but it's easy to put back on. My daughter loves the different colors too.

These are great and less expensive than some of the other light sabers out there. These connect and they look awesome. We have some that are more expensive and these are very comparable to those. My kids love to battle with these.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for a close relative's son. He was recently introduced to star wars (he is 6) and has become a huge fan. Awesome gift and just the right scale for a child. I will do my best to describe his interaction with the gift now. He tears off the wrapping, is processing what the package is for a slight moment and then proceeds to swing the box around as if it is the saber. Shortly after we collect him and get the box open someone realizes you can put the two together to make one long saber and we get that part sorted for him and he did not put it down all day. Just recently he went back to school and has been begging his mom to take it to school with him to show his friends.

Both swords speaker wire came unsoldered within 20 minutes of playing. The bottom cap diameter is too small for the threads, and can be pushed out and in. Speaker quality is very very poor, and no thought or care was put into the sound effects themselves. The "shut off" sound is particularly bad, playing for 3 or 4 seconds longer than the "power down" light effect of the sword. The light and polymer tube are held in place with small set screws that will inevitably come loose from their "stripped from factory" handle, or bore through the plastic components altogether.

I'm going to start this review with everything I liked about these sabers. First, it's exactly what it describes. It's a more durable toy lightsaber with loud sound and 16 colors. It's metal handles & a usb-c port to charge, no batteries. It does boast a $70 cost (for 2 sabers) which I don't think it's worth. I think they're worth about $45 I purchased this for flow art/dances so I was extremely pleased with how these appeared and worked! Sadly after a little over a week of use and, a few drops on a carpet floor, one of the lightsabers does not respond to any button presses or anything. It will quickly flash when getting plugged in but otherwise useless.I feel, although it's more durable than Walmart saber with its metal handle, sadly it's still fragile so if it's hit in the handle or dropped on a hard surface, it will most likely stop working. If you're good with a solder you can most likely fix this but not everyone is savvy with that. All in all, its around $60 for the 2 (I'd say its worth around 45 for the 2.), it's kinda durable & looks great. But internals could be secured further to protect it from issues like this.I still have 1 functional saber at the moment, but this isn't worth the $60-$70 cost imo.

I bought these for my boys for Christmas and they loved them, however one stopped working after a few days so we are having to return them.

Was charged $89 but on receipt in the box was $60Blade feels that it would break anytime when kids play with it. Flimsy and fragile.Hilt feels decent but the sound from impact seems to behave abnormally.Certain colours of lights are great. Some are not as it is quite dull or just too “whiteâ€
