An excellent mixer when using a standalone mixer is not necessary. This mixer did everything that was required. There are a lot of speed settings and it makes mixing and whipping extremely easy. When standing up the mixer after use, it can stand on its own and drip into your mixing bowl to avoid any countertop mess. Although this mixer cannot replace an actual standalone mixer, it is very good for those who bake once in a while or just want something to be stirred throughly. I have not been able to use the bread hook attachments that it comes with yet, so I do not have much to say about those. However, if you are looking for a mixer that is incredibly silent, this is not for you. When using it downstairs my family members say they can hear it upstairs for reference not too loud, but not silent either. Overall, a very good product would 100% recommend.

been trying to find a stand mixer for years that THE BOWL TURNS same time the beaters are turning. Finally. Had one years ago and making whipped cream was so simple. This mixer allows you to start a process of mixing, adding and finishing. You don't have to stop your process to scrape the sides and you don't have to hold on to the mixer BUT, you can detach the mixer and use it anywhere you would a hand mixer. It's small. Lite weight and has all the power you need for your simple everyday life.

I like the fact it is a small mixer and can be used as a hand mixer

I was to quick to review and am now writing a better review! Good quality for the price! Its light weight which is nice. Important to figure out which correct holes the beaters go into, other wise the bowl won't auto turn. The beater stems have notches on them. The beater with the two notches goes into the plastic plug looking hole. Then the bowl will turn! Loving it more now that I fixed that mistake. Also I thought it quick working period after one use. Found out that outlet I had it plugged into, the breaker broke on it. Not sure if the mixer broke it or not. So try another electrical outlet if the same happens to you. I was going to return it, but not any more unless it breaks another electric breaker on me

Don't get this.Weekly use of it, mostly for bread dough kneading at low speed. The hook broke randomly as it was kneading the dough, it broke at its base, where you plug it into the stand mixer, so I cannot even remove it from the stand mixer to use another tool (whisk).Really poor quality when my previous stand mixer lasted for a decade.

This could really work well for a weekend warrior type of chef. It’s a pretty great value for the money — IF you’re not too serious or frequent a user. I absolutely love that the bowl spins automatically when it is mixing. (And if yours doesn’t turn when it’s supposed to, switch the beaters into the opposite holes. I know the manual says repeatedly that it doesn’t matter, but they’re wrong, and it does.) This is not going to give your KitchenAid or Cuisinart a run for its money. But it costs about one-fifth of what they do. As I said at the beginning: I’m thrilled with it, and it is definitely a good value for me and my level of usage.

I do not know how anyone thinks this is good for making dough. I tried. The speed is to fast, splatters out of the bowl and the dough hook closest to the bowl pushes into the bowl when trying to kneed it. I just ordered a bread machine to do what I thought this could do.
