Actually surprised I didn't invent this product. With years of waiting on 3 kids to get done with travel baseball practice, cheer tumbling gym & exercises, and everything else they do that left me sitting in the car for over an hour (too far to return home and then back) I have sat in my car uncomfortably turned to the console in our large full size SUV trying to take notes or make checklists, or even read while wishing I had some decent flat surface to use. This product answers that need. Moms need this! Why don't cars come with front seat desks that only open when the car is off? It would make so much sense. Because Moms apparently don't design cars - but they should!While assembling this "HZGAMER 2 in 1 Large Car Steering Wheel Tray/Back Seat Headrest Table with Phone Holder" I had to undo and redo some parts several times because the instructions were hard to understand. Finally got it though and took it to the car. I figured out how to do it and now I cant wait until the next time I have to sit and wait for a good while because now I can read or write with ease and have a good surface to do it on. I don't see any way it would damage a car. It is a little bulky and doesn't look very expensive but it is definitely functional and you also get 2 pull out pockets where you can put things like pens, stamps, envelopes, a little notepad, things like that. If you hate to waste time and love to feel like you're getting things done even when you have to sit and wait then you'll love this helpful steering wheel tray. You absolutely cant use it while driving so you don't have to worry about that danger. It's kind of awkward to store and I just sit it slightly folded up behind my seat when I'm not using it. I'd recommend it. I think this company will keep making improvements to make it better but its already an improvement over having to lean sideways on a console to try to write things in a notebook.

Great buy. I bought this for my husband and he uses it hanging from the headrest, so he keeps it installed it in his SUV to use when he’s visiting different construction sites. I took out one star because manufacturer should design a better grab when it’s installed behind the seat so it can be better secured and doesn’t feel flimsy. Also, the tray where you are supposed to lay the mouse, should be all flat, without any grooves.Otherwise, is a very good invention!

So first of all this thing sticks out nearly 13 inches from the steering wheel. I have to push my seat back and it still touches my stomach. The quality of the tray feels like cheap plastic. There is a bit of movement when using. Maybe this thing will last but it feels like I may easily break it. I don’t like having to scoot so far back every time I use it. Personally I do not recommend this one. I plan to buy a different type and compare.
