I would call the VegiVector 2 Inch Suction Hose Pump Kit a good/standard quality hose set at a fair price. It's what to get if you have a new pump and need hoses.. Camlock fittings are the way to go in my opinion.The suction hose is fairly heavy, yet flexible. If the stated 90 PSI working pressure of the lay-flat hose is accurate, it is 10 PSI higher than standard.It would cost more to buy these hoses and fittings separately to make up a set. Considering the hoses, camlock fittings, and strainer, this is a good value at the current price of around $130.

This is better than I was expecting.Fit, finish and construction are very good.This is exactly as described and pictured by the vendor.I like that the suction hose is reinforced and is unlikely to collapse. This whole thing is easy to use and even with only a 90psi working pressure rating i'm sure it will hold up fine for anything I'm likely to use it for.Good deal for a good product. Easy to recommend.
