I read several reviews complaining about flimsiness, but I'm pretty happy with this. I bought the version with scalloped edges, perhaps that helped? Anyhow, I needed this for mushroom substrate sterilization in my Presto 23qt, to keep the bags off the bottom of the pressure cooker. I stuck all 6 legs onto one of the racks and set it on the bottom. The remaining rack and the rack that comes included with the Presto were utilized as spacers between layers of grain bags. Worked like a charm :)

Meh, I put the 2 racks together, then put the "legs" on them, making one shelf, with legs. I made sure to pullthe leg tabs all the way thru the holes on both rack shelves. Then bent the tabs, using a small hammer to make sure the don't come apart. It works well this way, making in sturdier. Both racks are easily bent if not put together. Keeping them, as I had to use them the next day for canning. Used for pints. Put the elevated rack ( this one ) on the bottom, then added another rack that came with pressure cooker. Its sturdy enough combined, to use for quarts .

I used this for pressure canning, and not only did it rust on the first use, all my canning lids came out very rusted that cycle, too.
