I get an error message that says plug is not working and that i need to switch to battery mode. I am not sure this plug is working correctly.

The cords and adapters work fine to power up our ring Stick Up cams. Nothing fancy but works well.

These are good enough to keep the battery charged in a Ring camera but not good enough to run it. Cameras have an error that says the camera stopped receiving power. This leaves the camera in battery mode which disables some features. This WILL NOT work as a direct replacement for the original power cord. If that is what you are looking for you will be wasting your money. It will not do what is advertised but too late to return by the time I tried it.
