The installation process is straightforward and hassle-free, requiring minimal effort to swap out with your existing, or possibly damaged, cork. Just remove all remanence of the old cork, use some 800+ grit sand paper to remove the last of the glue and shine up the metal, wipe down with acetone and slip sleeve on when dry. Once installed, the silicone sleeve has maintained its position securely without the need for any glue. All in all, this repair solution earns a resounding 5 stars out of 5 for its effectiveness, and ease of use.

I love it very tight on my son saxophone and it better than the cork on the neck of his instrument.

This was hard as heck to slide onto the neck. The blue was not thick enough and none of my mouthpieces will seat properly. The black is just barely thick enough for one of them to fit. I had to shove it far enough down the neck that there is about 1/8" of brass showing to be able to tune. Not sure if it will be a permanent option or if I'll go back to cork yet.

It’s absolutely horrible. My mouthpiece barely fits on it like I cannot get it to go as far as it should on the neck. The only good thing about this is that it plays easy but you know it still sounds horrible. I would not recommend this because it barely does what it should, my sax sounds horribly flat. I have a concert tomorrow and a parade on Friday so I don’t know what to do because this product was genuinely so bad.

Easier to install than cork. Would purchase again.

Too small, too difficult to stretch over the neck of the saxophone, then too thick to slide the mouthpiece over when finally in place, and then it tore when removing the mouthpiece from the neck. It's not a suitable replacement for real cork.
