Great idea! We didn’t use protectors for our first set of placards. After using these I suggest them for everyone! It fits on the review perfectly and is easy to remove. Tough plastic. The cards have extra space too. Not a tight fit.

Thought perhaps gentler handling of the second Handicap Placard would help it to last longer but not the case. The hanger portion of the plastic holder is not sturdy enough to make this item a homerun. This plastic placard holder must endure the hottest part of the car, windshield. This item is only used when the vehicle is parked at a location other than my garage. The cut-out for the design of the hanger on the rear view mirror is too flimsy to withstand the heat in the interior of the car and therefore it ends up losing its composition and just about falls off the rear view mirror. Concerned I may get a parking violation if that happens.

I had received one of these from a friend, because I was having a difficult time trying to hang my handicap placard from my rear view mirror. The open hanger was not big enough to properly fit around my mirror post. This sleeve had a large opening that fit around my mirror easily. I got one for a friend that was experiencing the same issue and it fixed the problem. Plus, the sleeve is well-made and durable. I expect it will last for many years.

Good cover. My only issue is it lost its shape when in the car. Not sure this is good for high heat or not. It still did the job but you could tell that the heat did not work well for the cover. It can still be used but you may want to look for a cover that can handle heat better.

It did warp in the sun as well, but this is to be expected, happened quite early but was not so bad, at this point, to make it unusable in any way. The hanging portion completely separating from the pouch absolutely did make it unusable, however. The longevity is just not there., and I cannot recommend.
