I purchased two of these. One for my dog and one for my cat.My cat is an indoor cat, but my dog went outside to use the restroom in our backyard and it’s El Niño season apparently, and the fleas and ticks are rated “high†in our area as of a month agoI purchased a different Fleek home where the prongs just weren’t as perfect as these are.Excellent excellent value for the money, extremely sturdy, high-quality, the size fits perfectly in your hand, it does not pour like other flea combs do on the animals hair.The only thing that would’ve been helpful to have come with. This would be a small little brush to help get the fleas out of the metal prongs. Since I did not have that, I did use a toothbrush to help me get them out. I then once I clean them, placed them in a plastic bag, and I set them out in the window sill so the hot Florida sun king kill anything left over that I might not have gotten, like a flea egg.Highly recommend. After reading all of the positive reviews and looking at everybody else’s pictures, they were right on this one. The price was beyond reasonable for what I got. I did see one person say that the prongs on theirs broke.. Sometimes people break things to try and get a refund (because looking at the damage, one person posted, after having the item, I just don’t see anywhere possible that a large section of prongs would just cleanly snap off in the method in which they were depicted.I absolutely love the handle, it’s ergonomic and fits in my hand, it gets around the dogs, ears, and all the nooks and crannies very easily.I’m getting a little older and I really appreciate the handle because somethings cramp up my hands when I try to hold them for a longer period of time especially with a moving animal.. Definitely better than a handle on another product I bought.

Great little tool for removing fleas. These seem to do the job better than other combs I have tried on my dog.

I think they would work on short hair cats that are very trusting. My group won’t stand still for me to use them… they are well made and easy to to hold and I like the concept behind it but not with squirrelly cat like mine

Was a bit hesitant about getting these since they just seemed so small. I have a German Shepherd who sheds A TON!! Usually I would use the Furminator that I used to have, but I lost it. These are an excellent substitute and a lot cheaper as well!! If you have used the Furminator, you will love these!! Basically the EXACT SAME THING!!

Using these for our cats, grabs the undercoat hair. They enjoy being combed. Exactly as expected.
