I needed a cute bucket to hold the drinks for a party I was having, and after reading the reviews and seen they were smaller than expected I knew these were what I wanted. Thu fit nicely in my table and the ice didn’t melt out of them. Yay for no leakage on a wooden table.

This tub is well made, it has two good, strong handles on the sides, the size is very good and not overwhelming, and I have several ideas what can be done with it, and have to decide to pick which one to go with, or if I even want to consider painting it for whatever use. It has such a nice appearance and a good size that I am picturing planting blooming flowers in it to display in front of my place with my home number inserted on the side of it. I also envision it put in my car's trunk and used to hold the frozen foods from food shopping because those fabric frozen food holders just smash down and don't work. I could see this as a tub filled with ice and lots of fruit popsicles or individual small ice cream cups; or painted on the sides and used in a child's room as a toy holder.

These two metal buckets were shipped nested together in a large black bag. Amazon shipped the bag in a box. The box didn't have any damage but the two buckets do not sit level. I don't know if that's a manufacturing problem or a shipping problem. Once weighted down, they should be fine, but one has just a little bitty wobble and the other one has a pronounced wobble.Other than that, they are fine. Okay quality and build. Should serve my purpose just fine, which is to put multiple pots of plants in them currently (seasonally, mums right now....for Christmas, poinsettias, and then for Spring and Summer, whatever delights me at the garden center). These could also be used in crafting.Personally, I think $30 for 2 of these buckets is overpriced but each buyer decided whether the price is right for them or not.

This is a handsome pair of galvanized metal tubs that are perfect for party drink coolers or back porch vegetable planters. They look like small horse troughs and since the handles are separate and on the sides they truly hold 4 gallons. I got a similar set earlier in the summer, but the handles were cut out of the sides and while they were nice, they didn’t actually hold the amount that was stated. These things will keep a lot of drinks or food cold with no problem.And of course, they have a lot more uses than just being cooler tubs. If you’re into “farmhouse†or rustic decor, they’re attractive enough to use inside as storage containers. They’re also a great size to use as back porch herb or vegetable planters, but don’t be expecting to grow tomatoes! Mine are going to serve double duty as both party coolers and wash tubs – I have a lot of clothes these days these that need a hand wash. I was pretty happy with these tubs right out of the box and I know they’re going to last me a long while. What do you think you’ll use them for?

Having redone a rebuilt of my heat exchanger in the crawl space, the exhuast pipe for the furnance had to be cut in the process and replaced. The issue here is that a small leak had formed in the exhaust lip that meets the furnace lip where the inducer motor typically shoots out all the evaporated carbon monoxide. Once cooled, it becomes water and accumlates in the exhuast pipe and trickles back out to the drain line. The small leak at the lip however causes droplets to fall down and in a day, is equivalent to 2 oz of water. Multiply it by a 4 month winter time frame and you have 16 water bottles worth of water leaking or 2 gallons of water. To resolve the issue and get by, these 4 gallon trays sit nicely under the leaky lip of the furnance and all the water is collected nicely. No more messy issues.
