I didn't realize how much I needed these shakers until dinner time. EVERY DAY. I finally found these old school, non electric, non computerized, non wifi, and non ethernet connected. Just plain old salt and pepper shakers. As with most ALL of these types of shakers, the holes in the top restrict the pepper a little too much, and the salt pores through a little too freely, for me. Granny once had a remedy for the salt shaker. Fill it half way with RICE. The rice will slow the salt flowing through the shakers holes. You can adjust the salt flow by adding or subtracting the rice grains. The pepper shakers holes can be enlarged to suit your preference if needed.
