The strikers are located on the bottom of the jar that is glued into the depression, you can't see them when placed normally, just swipe the striker with a match to ignite.
If the striker at the bottom of the jar stops working, it needs to be replaced, slowly tear off the old striker at the bottom, fold the new striker paper and rub to open it, stick on the bottom.

After years of using ugly match boxes and dumping the matches when accidentally opening the box upside down, I got these cute match holders. Yes, they are small...they hold normal size matches. But they are so nice to have, hold lots of matches, and the strikers work great. I should have gotten these a long time ago!

These match holders are exactly how they were described. They are the perfect size for normal kitchen matches, have replacement adhesive strikers that fit conveniently on the bottom, and definitely beat having boxes of matches sitting around. They do their job extremely well, and look good in the process!

They look great! Only drawback is that the place where you strike the match gets worn down relatively quickly. However, it comes with replacement stickers which I highly appreciate.

Not sure they are worth the price…LOOK CLOSELY at the size and measurements. These are VERY SMALL! My bad for not looking but buyer beware. Pics are deceiving

These are perfect! They’re small, which suits what I needed. The pic is w 2†black matches. I put the adhesive scratcher on the bottoms. One will be downstairs and one upstairs. So happy with these !

Super cute & functional. This little baby works. Super easy to light a match on the bottom. I’ve been looking for something more stylish than an ugly box of matches to light our bathroom candle & now I’ve found it! I included the toilet paper roll in the pick to give an idea of the size. It does hold lots of matches even though it’s small. I don’t mind the size because I didn’t want something too big anyway. Also it’s a really good price. I’ve looked around and these things can be really expensive.
