For the price these were pretty good. They are made of a felt like material, just one layer of that, along with a thin, mesh like material, also one layer for the lining. It's not exactly going to keep your head toasty but it'll block some wind. The elastic band along the bottom helps secure it your head it fits just right on me, with a fitted New Era baseball cap, I wear a 7 3/8. If you anything above 7 3/4, this hat would probably stretch out a bit where the shape might be affected and might look funny. I'd definitely recommend for anyone with my size head and smaller.Like other hats of this style I've received in Amazon, they're shipped flat, like a pancake, if you wore it straight from packaging you'd have a pancake on your head. That's not the look I'm going for, getting it's shape back isn't too hard.You'll just need an iron, an old shirt, a towel and a can of starch. You might get away without the starch if you don't already have some. If wrinkly clothes bother you, a can of starch is your hero, it'll get the wrinkles out faster so you don't spend too much time ironing and it'll keep wrinkles out during the day, it's like hair spray for your clothes. It's pretty cheap too just $1-2 a can but it keeps you looking sharp and wrinkle free all day, just be careful on how much you use cuz you'll have flakes if you use too much. Anyway, going back to the hat, stuff the towel inside the hat, make sure you got enough of the towel in there so it stretches out it's shape, as if you're wearing it. You might need another small towel if you have areas that are still flat. After you've got it all stuffed, spray the entire hat with starch, light mist, don't concentrate on just one spot, you don't need too much spray, just enough so its a little wet. Now you can plug in your iron and wait till it heats up. I usually have it on the highest setting we well as have the steam option on, it helps get wrinkles out faster. While it heats up, the hat will soak up the starch, when it gets up to temp, take the old shirt, using one layer of it, cover your hat. Never let the irons hot plate come into direct contact with your hat, as it might burn it. Your shirt is the layer between the two to prevent burns and shiny areas that's permanently there. Grab your hot iron and iron your hat till the starch is no longer wet and your hat is completely dried. Be careful not to spend too much time on one spot, always keep the iron moving. When you're done, your hat should return to it's original condition, nice and poofy like the pictures. Good luck

Came a little wrinkled, but nothing that won't come out by just wearing it a bit.. Great fit and very comfortable, don't know why I waited so long to order.. THEY LOOK AND FEEL GREAT..

Not bad for the price. Looks good. More a fall or spring cap as lining is minimal. As to sizing, it seems to run smaller than expected. I ordered two at once each with the same size (7 3/8). one fit OK tho' a bit snug, the other was on the small size, very snug even with snap adjustments completely undone. Maybe it will stretch with wearing. (Size is adjustable via three snaps in back.) Overall, aside from sizing, I like the caps and would consider buying again given the low price.

These are very nice, however they don't hold their shape and the fit would be better served with elastic in lieu of the snaps

To start these are super cheap. That has to be taken into consideration.I wouldn't wear them in summer as they don't breathe well and I need a beanie in the winter to survive working outdoors. That being said these make an excellent fall/spring hat which is probably 50 percent of the New England year.Looks decent, easy enough to clean. Cheap enough that if I lose or destroy it I wouldn't ugly sob over it. It's the type of hat that if I left it on a job site 15 minutes away it'd be the job sites that now.That being said it's rather comfortable, which is saying something for me because I'm really picky about what I'll wear comfort wise. A lot of hats cause irritation on my forehead, this one doesn't have that issue. The two colors was a nice plus.This isn't a kabgol. If you are expecting a kangol hat for 10 dollars you are out of touch with reality. It is a decent hat for it's price that looks nice and is effectively disposable because the price point is so low.

These are not suited for everyone. These are a fall or mild winter hat. Will be a killer in hot weather.
