I've tried both and the metal ones just do not retain heat long enough as they are quite thin. These ceramic ones are great and stay hot for a shockingly long time and so you have a tremendous window of time to get a decent temp without scorching. They fit my 10mm female joint correctly and stayed put on its own (no clip).

I guess I'm the only one buying these for their original purpose before dabbing came around. Lol. But for real it works great, fits perfectly and I can probably keep using one nozzle for at least 5 or 6 projects.

This is not for sandblasting whatsoever. This is for consumption of marijuana, wax and oils. This would not be for your standard dab. This is a lot smaller, and it will fit inside a nectar collector. There was some superficial cracks on the tip on both pieces. It does hold heat a lot longer than metal.
