Perfect for my application. Replaced a locked up actuator on my 90’s Japanese car. Didn’t take much to modify it to fit factory mounting holes thanks to the included bracketry.Works great, price is right. Can’t ask for much more

The rods are thin. Sometimes I have to hit the unlock twice.

When you apply 12 volts to this the unit vibrates and feels like it is under a constant load and will burn out quickly. Not sure why? UPDATE: So it appears that this solenoid can only have a momentary switch of open and closed. This unit should not have a constant load. if you do that it works great. was using it for something other than a car door lock.

Wires were way too short compared to others.And this made it a pain.
