How to install Callsun solar panel for ring camera
1.Locate the area that receives the most direct sunlight and mark the screw installation spots on the wall mount.

3.Attach the ring camera solar panel outdoor to the wall mount, adjusting it to achieve the best angle for sunlight exposure.
4.Connect the ring stick up camera solar panel to your cameras using the barrel connector or the barrel plug to USB-C adapter.

I’ve had them already for few months. They are easy to install and have kept my ring cameras charged. You don’t need to think too much where they point to; little sun light day after day is more than enough

I was tired of recharging almost once a month, wanted to installed solar panels for the cameras, but RING panels are pricey, so went ahead a bought 2 of these to give them a try, and they work great with my RING Stick Up cameras, no more climbing on ladder to remove battery, wait like 6 hours to charge and climb back again to insert battery.

Installed it a hour ago and so far not working. Ring app says nothing connected. Took 24 hrs for it to register that its charging. Seems to slow down the battery drain but not sure if its better that the OG 1.4 watt panel.

Works great. Very easy to setup. Plug, and Play.I highly recommend this. I prefer black it blends in with the environment. All my camera are at 100% .

I have other cameras with the Ring branded panel that work fine but at about half the price of the Ring panel, I ordered this instead. Problem is, it did not work. Did all the troubleshooting stuff and kept it connected for almost a month. Camera did not recognize the panel, but worse….no charge. Battery went steadily down. Biting the bullet and getting the Ring branded panel.

Worked perfectly for my ring gen 3 stick up cam. Long enough cord to reach direct sunlight. Keeps it charged at all times.

Most generic solar panels will charge Ring cameras, but the Ring app will not register the panel as “Connected†in the Solar Status. This one is recognized by the Ring app, if it matters to you.The build quality and look of this one is very similar to panels sold by Ring.
