With everyone in my family either being an athlete or coach, we go through a lot of ice! Our refrigerator can't keep up, so we buy bags of ice. It is so frustrating to try to get ice out of a bag when the pieces are stuck together. This ice pick works great breaking up the ice. It takes very little effort to get my ice now. It is lightweight, and the cover keeps the pick clean in between uses. Highly recommend!

I was using this ice pick for the second time, as it was supposed to be used. While picking at the ice, the tip just curled around and now is rendered unusable. The quality of the metal in the pick itself is so cheap, it will not even break up a simple ice cube without curling into itself. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!!!! Item returned.

Rather that have a shaft gradually tapered down to a point they just beveled the last 3/4 inch too a point. Not as useful as a probe or screw starter as the old one I had.Nice thread-on sheath, if your only need is to just chip ice then itΓ’β¬β’s fine.

I was impressed with these ice picks - I used to own a cheap pair years ago, with no cover, that fell apart after a few years. These things are massively built, with a nicely-sized pair of grips that give you some power when youΓ’β¬β’re chipping ice. The Γ’β¬ΕsheathsΓ’β¬Β are a clever idea as well. Rather than a thin, throw-away sheath that will break or be lost, these sheaths are built to the same heroic mold as the picks themselves. They screw on and will never break or get lost.IΓ’β¬β’m very impressed with these picks, and they give the feeling that theyΓ’β¬β’d stand up to me using them to scale a glacier, not that IΓ’β¬β’m planning on trying. *RECOMMENDED*

The Ybenlld 10 inch Pick Tool for Breaking Ice comes with a screw off protective cover and looks great.The handle has a nice grip to it, making it easy to hold, even with wet hands.The picks are long and strong and will do damage to big blocks of ice.Very impressed with what you get for $10 each. They look more expensive.
