This should be what Pfister included in the package not the plastic one. Made the shower valve have a sturdier feel when turning and definitely better control on setting the temperature you want. The original was a hard plastic that cracked. Went to Home Depot and they don't sell just this stem part and my only option was to buy the whole set again for $200. I just went home and searched Amazon. Low and behold, I found this listing, got my caliper and saw the specs fit. Next day delivery and definitely 100% better than the plastic one. This brass stem feels so much better upon installation. I highly recommend this rather than replacing the whole shower assembly.

The inside plastic fitting broke, but when I ran into this piece, I was weary. Got the part install right away no difficulties. Just make sure to keep original screw because the one provided is too bulky for fitting. No complains so far, will see later.

Worked great as a replacement on a Pfister single handle bathtub faucet. Was much more sturdy than the original piece that broke.

Worked great and replaced broken part. Didn't need all new setup which was over 60 so saved over half. Did have to use old screw as new on did not fit but no big deal

I ordered TWO packs of the gold shell thing WITH screws but only ONE pack came with everything. So 4 gold shells with only 2 screws was delivered when it should be 4 gold shells and 4 screws.Anyways, the second pack did not come with any screws which didn’t make sense since I ordered two of the same thing.Nevertheless the screws were too long to work with inside my shower handles.So money lost either way.

Slightly longer than the original part. The screw is too large. I had to use the original that I had kept.
