The water solenoid on my humidifier was shutting off with a loud thump. I added a water hammer arrestor and this fitting was exactly what I needed to attach the arrestor to the water solenoid. Local stores(home depot, lowe's, ace hardware) didn't carry this part.Solved my problem cheaply.

This coupler worked for me. Some flare fittings can bottom out before being tight and will leak. The natural gas port of my portable generator was too close to it’s body and I could not get the connection tight since the flare fitting hit the body of the generator before it was tight enough to seal. This solved the problem.

I used this to attach my vacuum gauge to my core remover tool for vacuuming a new mini-split AC unit. It worked perfectly for my needs.

Ordered a two pack of 1/4†flared connectors to use for a C02 gun to blow out drain lines. Could NOT get either fitting to seal properly to even hold 5-20psi of pressure. Attempted to use PTFE thread sealant tape without success which should NOT even be necessary on flared connections. Tightening them more thoroughly in hopes it would crimp the flare to hold a seal without success which cracked one of the two brass fittings. I flare copper tubing and use brass nuts regularly for my job and can see the imperfections were entirely a result of poor craftsmanship on the flare itself. Would be happy to update this review to 5 stars if the seller provides a product that does what it says it’s will. Cannot return this item because I bought it a few months ago

I don't know if under high pressure it works great. But it fixed my oil leak.

Had to connect a Honeywell valve for the in-floor heating to a new pipe… Home Depot sells numerous male flare to PEX solutions, but no 1/2†female connectors. Weird. Whatever. This does the job.
