Like most folks I too am just as guilty of gorilla-fisting the locking clips off the first factory fuel injector connector I touched. Of course it probably didn’t help that I did it in the dead of winter and I’m sure the cold didn’t help the situation any. And like most, I plan to replace the body and avoid having to clip and splice wires, which is rarely a good way to make electrical repairs anyway.Personally I don’t understand why someone isn’t selling just the connector bodies anyway, since that’s the thing everyone needs to replace and nobody wants or needs to cut and splice wires just to fix a broken plastic connector. Even if I were planning to cut the wires I would much rather clip it as close to the connector body as possible and crimp on new wire terminals than splice the wires with pigtails.Anyway, this is a perfect match to the factory connector and I see no reason not to recommend these to anyone in need.
