I wanted these for holding homemade ice cream cones while cooling so they would keep their shape, and they worked perfectly for that. The holders are made of sturdy and attractive acrylic, with a wide base for stability and little silicon (?) feet to keep them from slipping around. But now that I have them, I can think of so many other applications! They're definitely going to be holding charcuterie cones at my next gathering. And what else....?
