I wanted a 'portable' clothesline to reduce the amount of electricity I was using to dry clothes. This filled the bill perfectly. I purchased two of them and since I have a small house, so I installed them in the bathroom. They work extremely well and I very pleased. It only took about 10 minutes to install each of them. I highly recommend this product if you are cramped for space. I did not try it for travel and have no plans to.

These are nice looking and functional, 2 issues that need to be mentioned:1) the mounting screws are junk, probably made from scrap tin cans. I has trouble getting them into a softwood post. The Philips head screw stripped out without any effort so I needed to unscrew it with pliers. I had to revert to some screws I had in my can of spare screws.2) the cord has some stretch to it, so expect about 6-8†of sag got a 7 foot span.They do retract well, so no problem there.

After trying to install one of these, I was so frustrated with the poor quality and senseless design of the mounting hardware that I gave up and returned them. The listing says it has a stainless steel line, but the line is just nylon. The screws are so cheap that they strip immediately. The small screw needed to connect the mounting plate to the unit has a strange squarish (but not square) that does not fit any screwdriver tip I have (and I have a ton of different size Phillips heads, square drivers, torx, etc)The biggest problem is that the mounting plate is pretty much impossible to get connected to the unit once it is mounted on the wall.I really wanted to love this as we were just staying in a hotel with a similar unit and found it useful, but the design and quality of this one are just not adequate.

Los compré porque vivo en un departamento y tengo poco espacio. Son muy resistentes, creà que se iban a bajar al colgar cosas más pesadas pero no se baja casi nada.
