These are not going to replace floor lamps to illuminate your entire room, but they are a nice focal or uplight. The bulbs are weird. You have to set the temperature on a switch BEFORE you install them. If you want to change the color, you have to remove them, change the switch, and then reinstall them. It would be more convenient if the switch were on the unit rather than the bulb.Also, the bulbs are fiddly to install. You kinda have to blindly reach in there and sorta futz with it until you get them in place. It would be so much better if they were a regular, threaded screw bulb like normal lamp bulbs. It also makes me wonder how easy it would be to find replacements for these when they burn out.I think they're ok. My in-law's house is very dark and we wanted to get them some more lighting to help illuminate the living room and while they do work, I think traditional floor lamp might have been better for their particular usage.

These uplights actually work and are nice looking as well. Have one of them highlighting a painting and the other casting some incredible light on a huge painting. Glad I purchased them.

These two light are nice and don’t get hot. They are very lightweight. That could be a plus or minus based on what they are used for. They work well and I have not had any issues with them. My biggest gripe is the only way to change the type of light (3000k/4000k/6000k) is to remove the bulb and change the switch on the bulb. I placed these lights on top of a cabinet and control them via a plug attached to a light switch.

The two lights were well made and put out just the right amount of light. I really liked that you can change the temperature of the lights with a simple switch on the side of each bulb. I may buy another set for a second room that could use more indirect light.

Simple set up, take out of the box, put the light bulb in that came with the package and plug it it! Nothing to it and bright like expected to lighten up the dark corner to f the room!
