I have ten of these in different shapes and find them to be the best. Advise using the proper silicone (can't remember which - so sorry) by applying to mould surface, let sit two minutes, then press to ceiling for a minute. Next day, add more silicone to close up edges between mould and ceiling. Be careful - some adhesives will eat through mould. They work well around ceiling fans, as well as chandeliers, but make sure to attach mould before fan blades, duh. Excellent products.

Nice option to hide a large hole in ceiling for smaller light. Does need painted. It’s made of a foam like material but it sturdy.
