I am actually very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this tape. I often pay around $30 PER ROLL for this type of tape, and will never do so again.I tested this thoroughly, and used it in several lead free soldering cycles in my reflow oven, and it holds up perfectly.I also used it to stick a temperature probe on my shop wood stove, and it is still stuck on a week later, after experiencing temp swings between 50F and 700F regularly. This is absolutely perfectly functional, has just the right amount of stickyness, doesn't leave any residue, and is perfectly heat resistant.I'm so happy with this tape that I'm EXCITED to be able to get good PTFE tape without wincing at the cost.

As someone who does a lot of board level repair & game console modifications, I tend to go through a decent amount of heat resistance tape better known in the trade as Kapton Tape. Overall this tape is decent, better than some ELEGOO tape I purchased a while back which refused to stick to anything, but not quite at well at some high grade tape (temps upto 400c) I picked up not too long ago which runs about 12 bucks for a single 108ft roll.At $19 dollars (after taxes with 20% coupon) for 5 rolls (20mm @ 164ft) coming out to $3.80 per roll this product is an excellent value as it performs decently for the price. Adhesive sticks well to PCBs, just make sure its makes a solid connection to the board, because as soon as the flux starts flowing if any of it get underneath the hotair will just pick the tape right up.

Available in different widths, I reviewed 20 mm (0.39 inches) in width and 50 meters (164 feet) in length heat-resistant tape. Some call it by the trade name “Kapton tapeâ€. This product is marketed as Brown Heat Resistant Tape. Made from polyester film reinforced with high-temperature-resistant silicone adhesive. My use is in masking circuit boards, soldering , and part retention. As for heat-resistance, its temperature range of -73°C (-100°F) to 260°C (500°F) was perfect for protecting electronic components, solder joints, coated, and masking surfaces. Transparent and easy to work with. The tapes silicone adhesive, provided easy release and left no residue upon removal. Besides excellent heat resistance, it’s not bothered by flux and has a good solvent resistance.

I ordered this to use for sublimation in my heat press. The tape is available in several different widths so it’s easy to find the right size needed. The tape works great, it holds on during high temperature and high pressure and leaves no sticky residue. If you are working with a heat press, especially in a bulk sublimation operation, this heat tape is essential. It can also be used for many other projects where heat resistance is necessary. Overall I found this set of 5 rolls of heat resistant tape to be a good value and should last me for quite a while.

Works perfectly to isolate liquid metal from a delidded CPU and the motherboard. Normally, once liquid metal is applied and the cooler is attached i would not removed it again for 5 yrs but after a few days of stress testing for stability i wanted to check the condition of the tape. It looked brand new, no signs of deformation or discoloration from the heat of the socket. For giggles, i applied some tape to my 3D printer build plate and printed a Benchy in PETG, nozzle temp of 230C, bed temp of 70C - While i had minor adhesion issues the tape held up fine over the 18 min print time.. pretty impressive.

Review Date: 02/20/2025Price when Ordered: $24.99*I ordered this product through the Amazon VINE program, so I did not pay, but I still take the price into consideration on my reviews.Overall Impression: I am new to the world of sublimation... so pardon me for not a great review. My friend has T shirt press, and was making me a shirt. Giving her this tape was my contribution to the project. As far as I can tell, it worked as it was supposed to. It held the shirt in place, and didn't seem to be bothered by the heat. When we took it off, there was no residue and my friend was VERY HAPPY to keep all the left over tape for future projects. My Review Scale:5 Stars - Good product, something about it is better than I expected, would recommend.4 Stars - Good Product, with quality that I would expect. I would recommend.3 Stars - Decent Product, but there is something I don't like.2 Stars - Ok, but do not recommend.1 Star- Do Not Buy

I just recently started doing sublimation on tumblers, keychains, wood, shirts and other items so I needed some heat resistant tape. I came across the 5 Rolls Sublimation Tape Heat Transfer Tape, 20mm × 50m (164ft) Heat Resistant Tape.Held firm on my substrates, left no sticky residue, didn't melt through and didn't tear. Had a little stretch to it on the tumblers but not too much.Overall I think this is a great value for this many rolls and feet of tape. Does everything it states in posting. There are also several widths to choose from. The 20mm x50mm worked perfectly for all of my projects and I would definitely purchase this again.

I got the5 Rolls Sublimation Tape Heat Transfer Tape, 20mm × 50m (164ft) Heat Resistant Tape for a microwave smelting setup I saw on youtube. The rolls were more than enough for wrapping around my insulation. So far, it's holding up well. the adhesion was good, the heat resistance seems to be handling high temperatures without an issue, and it was easy to apply.Would recommend.
