Often times as a mechanic you have to pinch hoses to stop fluid or stuff towels to avoid foreign objects. But these ways potentially can damage the hose or get towel lint inside critical components. Just use these plugs, it's a quite neat way to do the job.

One set of these will NOT be enough to do very much if you're wanting to plug ports in an engine. There are not enough of the critical sizes you will need. Two sets should be enough.

Skips more sizes than your cheap HF wrench set. Plenty of small ones ( I may be biased since I have a set of small silicone plugs already). It's hard to pay this much for such an inadequate set of thin plastic caps. Sent mine back and got a set with more mid-sized ones sold by a tool company, but still expensive for caps.

Description states 0.11" to 4.37" but only a large 4†then next size down around 2 inches then abunch of smaller useless sizes the picture shows exactly the sizes it comes with
