Great price. Was worried it might be aluminum painted brass so I scraped it with a pair of pliers. Solid brass. See item on left in the picture.

Not brass but brass colored aluminum but it will work the hose clamps were adequate and took a good amount of force.

well the item worked but I did find that of the two hoses that I had to repair , both being both 1/2 inch hoses , one of the hoses did leaked, while the other fit very very well??? In the end now both now are fixed. Quality seem ok, and ease of Functionality.

I really like the Zero G canvas hoses except for the aluminum fittings. Over the winter the fitting on the male end ‘galled’ to the fitting on the nozzle. Yeah I should have taken it off. Tried everything; put it in a vise, heat, soaking in vinegar, penetrating oil. Saw a YT video how to repair with these parts. It’s important you clamp the hose just below where you cut otherwise the latex liner pull way back into the canvas liner. Took about a minute to install the repair piece and clamp. Used lit today with my pressure washer, works great.
