What is a conical roller bearing?
The conical roller bearing belongs to the separation bearing, and the inner and outer rings of the bearing have a tapered raceway. The number of rollers fitted by these bearings is a series of different structural types such as single-column, double-row and four-row conical roller bearings. Single-row conical roller bearings can withstand radial and one-way axial loads. When the bearing is subjected to radial load, an axial force is generated, so when another bearing that can withstand.

I was impressed with the quality of this kit and the packaging. These fit the hubs on my solid tire gauge wheels on my tractor pulled landscape rake. Since these wheels and bearings are subjected to a severe use environment, I am ordering another set to keep on the shelf for quick future replacement.

everything you need to redo 2 wheels. i have this style wheel / bearing on my atv trailer and these worked perfectly to fix my bad bearings i had. time will tell for how long they will last.

Pulled the old one out, and could read the bearing code-- and this matched, so I ordered the set. My splitter was shrieking when I moved it so it was time--less the amount towed and more the fact that the machine is stored uncovered. One side was completely shot and the other less bad, but I replaced both.The set includes bearings, races, seals, cups and cotter pins, but DOES NOT include the thrust washers or castle nuts, so save those when you disassemble. ((I assume this is because there could be differing axle sizes or threads.)You need to tap out the old bearing races (one side at a time), clean everything thoroughly, remove any corrosion on the surfaces where the bearing races sit, grease and press or tap in the races. (I did the freezer trick to make it easier, and tapped in with a wood block that just fit.). Then grease and insert back bearing and bearing seal, grease and insert front bearing second, and slide assembly onto axle, being careful not to knock out the outside bearing. Then thrust washer, castle nut, and adjust leaving a little play, insert cotter pin, bend and tap in cap. Make sure you pack the bearings thoroughly!

Good quality, packaged very well with individual bags and all held in a small re-usable plastic case. I was impressed. I almost paid $7 for just bearings at the common tractor store when this entire kit came the next day with everything needed for 2 axels. Only question I had was if thrust washers should be used. This kit did not include them, but the original bearings didn't have them either. I just thought that was a little odd, but for a splitter that won't really be on the road, I'm not worrying about it!
