I do a ton of sanding and despite having a filter on the sander, I still get a lot of dust. You don't notice how much you breathe in til you start coughing and have to clean your nose. Figured it would be a good idea to get some type of mask. Given the fact I do a lot of spray painting as well, I decided to get a mask that had filter cartridges. I haven't had to change the cartridges yet thanks to the first layer of defense, the cotton pads. The comfortable silicone face mask is nice and creates an airtight seal to keep you from breathing anything in.

I've been a collector of various masks for my prepper box for some time, but all of them were full face masks and I needed a simple half mask for some painting projects. I'm no expert on masks, but I have looked at quite a few and I own 12+ different brands at the moment.Pros: From the moment I took them out, I new that some care was put into making them. The silicone molding is soft and pliable and has no visible casting lines. I put it on and was surprised by how light and comfortable it was. It comes with some sealed carbon filters (which I won't open until I use it), and several sets of cotton filters for the outside. All the pieces look well made and durable. I will look forward to putting it to use when I paint my trailer this spring.Cons: None.

This mask fits the face pretty well. The headgear is comfortable and the filters have an extra one that is put on top of the cartridge. Which was one of the reasons I wanted to try them out. The biggest drawback to this mask is where the face/nose adjustment strap ends are located. It is right at the edge of the nose so the straps are flopping onto your vision as there isn't a retaining band to tuck them into and even tucking them around the upper area they are still in my field of vision. I didn't notice this when I got them, but I definitely prefer a mask that adjusts at the back of the head on the crown strap.

This is a decently made mask, dual filters helps with breathability and airflow but it still makes breathing more difficult with the mask on. Has a constant rubber smell that just wont go away even when cleaned. The headstrap is terrible, id rather have a Y strap instead of having 2 different straps with one using a plastic ring that's supposed to fit around the back of your head. Comes with many filter replacements.

I have been using spray paint and sanders kicking up wood dust lately and every time I think, I really need to get a mask to protect my airways. This mask arrived and was very easy to assemble. It fits snugly over my face and I can't taste the fumes from the paint like I used to. The mask is soft and seals well which, as a women, can sometimes be a problem for items designed to fit men's faces. I can hear the membrane working to allow a flow of air and I breathe just fine in this.It comes with an extra set of N95 filters. The instructions were good and easy to follow. Do pay attention when you attach the respirators to the mask, they are keyed so you install it the right direction, and if you don't notice that, it could be frustrating.

To be fair, I haven't actually used the mask, because I got it for my emergency bag. However, I do have experience with masks, and this one seems as good quality as all the big brand name ones. It includes clear instructions that refer to the shelf-life of the filters when sealed (3 years), etc. It even comes with extra filters, which are vacuum sealed. It seems well made, and I wouldn't hesitate to trust this mask in an emergency. Overall, very pleased with this product.*The listing seems to have been updated since I ordered this, and when I did only one mask was included.
