It looks like it will be strong enough to pull my truck in case I’m stuck or broke down. The hooks look pretty heavy duty, and the strap seems well stitched and assembled. The yellow color helps to see it, and to remember to put it back in the vehicle when I’m done. HF sells a similar strap for $12 but it’s only rated for 2800 pounds. This strap is rated for 15,000 pounds but I have no way of testing that claim. I think that for most situations, where you are towing, or loading a vehicle on to a trailer, or dragging something a short distance this will work. This is a great product at a great price.

This review is for the GEELLI 2" X 20ft Boat Winch Strap with Hook, 10000 lbs Boat Trailer Winch Strap.The strap is intended as a replacement for a boat trailer winch. For that I think it'll work fine, since it'll be used for a relatively short distance and likely won't approach 10,000 lbs load except for the last couple of feet after the boat has stopped pushing itself up the skids. Many of the reviews mention using it to tow vehicles or use it off road. For that purpose I don't think I'd trust this strap. The material is fairly thin and it only has a hook on one end. Tying a loop in one end would lead to a stress concentration, which would further reduce the load capacity.If you want to use this to secure your boat on the trailer, go for it. If your intended use is for towing, just buy a tow strap, which are built much more heavily and have stitched and reinforced loops or hooks.

I've been using tow ropes for many years, for occasional equipment towing but mainly to pull pull trees in the desired direction when felling them. This is particularly important when the wood has already died. I keep the ropes clean and dry, but after a few years, they do wear out and become noticeably unsafe. Just two months ago, I purchased a 30 foot 2-inch wide strap on amazon, and I'm very happy with it. Flat straps are not the same to grab and pull by hand, but overall I consider them more convenient to store and use than the old-fashioned round, braided rope. The 30 foot one did not come with hooks, which makes it hard to extend, unless you can pair it with one with hooks. So I'm looking forward to making this 20-foot version to good use. Everything about it looks well made. With a 15K lbs rating, I'm confident I'll never be getting near its limit. The hooks also look well made, and the retainer clips are built stronger than anything I've owned before. Those are the pieces I find failing first.So I consider this a good acquisition, would recommend to others.

I think this tow strap has an honest description and is priced fairly for its quality. This is a tow strap to put in your trunk and use in an emergency. It’s fairly thin webbing and fairly flexible, so it doesn’t take up much space. This isn’t the tow strap you’re going to use every day to drag tree trunks up a hill or cars out of ditches, but it’s also not priced that way. It’s cheap, functional, and if it doesn’t last forever and you got a few uses out of it, I think I would call that a win.

Picked this up to keep in my truck for any emergencies that may pop. The tow strap seems very well made. The stitching and material seem very durable and up to the task up towing/pulling 15,000lbs. Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking to add a tow strap to there tool box.

We needed another tow strap to keep in the truck and boat. We used our old one to tow another boat when coming in. It ended up ripping a bit we had to throw away. This tow strap is great value for the money and the weight of it works well.

I got this to pull a tree upright with my come-along. I pulled it. The straps held. I am just not sure about the tree. I use all kinds of straps, pulleys, and devices to move or manipulate the trees and shrubs on my property. This will work great for that. The strap seems to be put together well, durable, and easy to use. I also use this for other projects but this one was the most recent.
