This is truly a do-it-all battery charger for standard vehicle batteries and high tech batteries as well. This is auto sensing, and charges at either 12 volt or 24 volt depending on the battery it senses that you hooked it up to. It will warn you if you connect it wrong, and prevent damage to the battery and charger until you correct it. All you have to do is select the type of battery you have, choose how many amps you want to charge it at from 3 possible settings and the charger handles everything from there. It tapers down if needed, and won't over charge or over current the battery. There is also a battery repair function, but that will only work on lead acid batteries. This charger works with regular lead acid batteries, sealed batteries like agm, regular lithium batteries, and even LiFePo4 batteries. This has a digital screen readout that tells you voltage, current, even the temperature of the battery at a glance. The included power cable is realistically long, and the battery connection cables are a good 3' long as well, so you don't have to juggle the charger to get it near enough to the battery to connect it. I have tested it with an agm batty, and a LiFePo4 battery, and this charger works very well. It's super easy to use, and seems to be of good sturdy build quality. At only $50 at the time of this writing it is a good value for a charger that can charge almost anything up to and including the latest commonly available technology. I think this is a good product, and I give it 5 Stars.

I have this battery tender hooked up to my Harley and it is doing its job!I don’t get to ride much in the winter months so having this tender is saving my battery. For the price you would pay to ruin your battery and have to buy replacements more often, buying the tender worth every penny!I also have used it on my F350 a couple times, and it just as well on my big truck as it did my Harley.

I was disappointed when I first opened this because the cords are thin, and it looked cheap. Well it is cheap. And the thin cords are still sufficient for what it needs to do. What I need to do is charge a 24v gel wheelchair, a 24v LiFePO4 wheelchair, and a 12v AGM starting battery in the wheelchair van that often goes flat because I leave the door open too long and the mobility equipment (kneeling suspension) stays running while parked. It fits easily in a cubby hole in the van so I always have it when on the road. At home, I have larger better chargers for every day use. This one is to get through emergencies and unexpectedly long days in a chair. It is fine for that. So, especially given its rare combination of features, its compact size, and low price, it is plenty good enough. I like it.Fairly soon I'll be making up a set of mating plugs and cable for the van and both chairs so I can just plug it into a port and don't need to bother with the clamps.

We have a lake house and have a pontoon with two batteries, a boat with two batteries and three Jetskis with one battery each. I have a large, commercial battery charger at home that I can roll into place. It always gives me the voltage immediately to any battery that I hook up to it. As I always do, I took all of the batteries out of the lake toys so I could charge them intermittently during the winter and keep them maintained through the off-season.I also have a charger at the lake house that is nice but one of the cords had pulled away from one of the post clamps. This had happened once before and I repaired it. Now it has happened again. I saw this charger and thought that it would be, at worst, a good backup at the lake house. After trying it out, I cannot in good conscience recommend it.It has a small form factor that makes it easy to handle. The power cord is plenty long. The cords for the post clamps are too short in my opinion. I do like the fact that both cords are detachable from the main unit. The first test was on one of the Jetski batteries. That, of course, is a 12V battery but is significantly smaller than a full sized car or boat battery. When I plugged the this charger in, it automatically read the voltage. The reading indicated a charge level at what should be about 75%. The charger recognized the battery type correctly. I set the charging rate at 20 AMPs since I have seen reliable documentation that it is not good to trickle charge (2 AMPs) the smaller 12V batteries. The charger started charging immediately. 5 seconds later it told me that the battery was full. I then hooked up my larger charger and it read a voltage that was two ticks smaller than what this charger read at the start. I started charging the battery again (with the large, portable charger) and it took about ten to fifteen minutes for it to show a "green" full-charged state. So then I tested this charger on one of my full-size, boat batteries. Everything happened as above except this time the charger on this link took a few minutes to bring the battery to what it said was a full charge state. This battery read at what was approximately a 50% charge at the start. After this little charger finished, I let the battery cool for about twenty five minutes and hooked up my large charger. The voltage that it read was just a little below a full charge. So I ran the larger charger and it took about ten minutes to reach a "green" full charge state.I waited a couple of days and tried this little charger on one of the other Jetski batteries. The exact same thing happened as happened on the first Jetski battery. Read about a 70% full charge and then told me it was "full" after about 5 seconds. I hooked up my larger, portable charger and, once again, the reading was two ticks lower than what I saw on the battery on this link. (When I say "two ticks, I refer to tenths of a Volt as in 12.5 vs 12.3). And, once again at the same charging amperage, my larger charger took about fifteen minutes to get the battery to a full charge state.Unfortunately, I do not trust the charger on this link.

I've been having some battery problem with my large SUV. This has made the difference. Instead of having to jump my vehicle in the morning I can charge it and it it works fine. I had it charge it for a few hours and the car had power back like nothing happened. I'm not sure how to use the Repair option so I haven't messed with it yet. The charge feature works great eat keeping my car good to go.

I just switched my motorcycles to lithium batteries and this fit the bill for my needs. Seems to work great
