I have had skate boards and paddle boards for a long time. I am 45, 6’1†and 215lbs. In my opinion, the ability to effectively cross train has not been a viable option. When I compared the ergonomics of a paddle in water and pushing with a stick on land; the fluidity of the catch, dig, and then drive in a short stroke could not be emulated. The flexible prosthetic type foot solved that.The BraapStik is tough. I hate cheaply made things. I have a problem with breaking stuff whether I am careful or just over handling them. The BraapStik is built! I don’t foresee that being a problem. The quality and durability were tangible.There was one small issue when it arrived. It was a plastic collar between two of the sections for fit. It had broken.I called up Hank in Arizona from the website. Lo and behold, I was talking to the person behind the product. He quickly shipped me an entire replacement handle rather than just a collar, because it had already changed. He told me he was continually improving parts. His new handle and collar design were better. He said rather than describe it, he would just send me them. He did not have the molded version of the upgraded handle on hand, so he sent me a 3D printed version. What amazing service! Very cool person backing up a cool product and company.The conversation ended with him telling me I could still use the BraapStik as it originally arrived, so go ride. Then he told me he hoped there were some other people to get out and land paddle with. I love that sense of community. I would strongly recommend this product and company.

I have been a paddle boarder for many years and have paddled more than 4000 miles. I moved and the water is not out my back door anymore so now I have taken up land paddling. First time on a skateboard and at 79 years old I need all the help and good equipment I can get.I was a bit hesitant about the earlier reviews that I read but the concept was so good and the other options were so limited that I ordered one anyway.It arrived last night and after putting it together I compared it to my carbon fiber water paddle and to the wooden land board paddle. The construction seems to be top notch as well as the design. Easy to take down and easy to adjust. Weight is good as well. It came with a T handle which I wasn't expecting but was wonderful.This morning I took it out and paddled for 4 miles without a hitch. It was comfortable, easy to paddle front side and back side. No shock loading on entry and a nice push on release. I can see putting many miles on this with no problems I hope.Would I buy it again....you betcha!

lightweight and super smooth land paddle. The spring absorbs some of the initial contact and then loads to give that extra boost on the push. Easy to adjust and setup, then when done stows in nice compact unit. nice to keep in car with longboard and not have Big Stick taking up space.

This product is noticeably better than any other land paddle sold. I received it in less than a week. I have already unboxed it and used it today within minutes of receiving it in the mail. I'm in Florida so hills are at a minimum. This product outperforms any other type. I am 51 years old. I longboard 2.5-5 miles a day. I have neuropathy in my feet so this product helps immensely as I use the stick to propel me when my feet are sore. I alternate between kicking and paddling and with the Braap Stik it makes this MUCH easier on my feet and body in general. I highly recommend this product and the company who makes it. (ZEN X TEN)

Their products are great and their customer service is what makes these 5 stars so easy to give... had issues with shipping and they went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me... fast replies via email turned into quick results via phone call and tool personal care to resolves the issues...i highly recommend their products quality and craftsmenship goes into each land paddle

This paddle is awesome! Easy to compact and carry when not in use. Love the spring and flex. Helps so much on uphill skates. Pad is pretty durable too
