Good small drill for everyday light jobs. Work fine. Not really meant for heavy duty stuff but overall a great value.

Yeah, they're going to break, they're only 0.5 mm. But, if you're careful and gentle, they will last a while before your hand instability eventually forces a bad angle and snaps them. When used carefully and not pushing too hard or bending them, they cut through efficiently and drill perfect little holes. Good bits!

I bought these for jewelry making. For try using a high speed rotary tool and they could not go through 20 ga copper or my 22 ga brass. Very surprised at positive comments.

I broke one of the 0.6mm drill bits in my Hakko, and Hakko does not sell a 1 or 3 pack of the bits, only 10 and they want $43 for them! I tried this in my tips and they worked great. Exact same size, so I ordered some for my 0.8, 1.0 and 1.3mm nozzles as well. You get plenty of them and they work just fine, so rejoice desoldering brothers - your call has been answered!

I recently bought these to drill holes for M2 threading in a scale motorcycle model. The part I was drilling was metal but quite soft — probably a zinc base. These twist drills were intended to replace a dulled titanium nitride bit that came in a set of different sizes. Unfortunately they were not up to the task. The first one I tried was so dull that it wouldn't do anything but make bits of powder — I thought my drill was spinning backward. I tried a second one which worked for one or two holes before giving up. The next two performed about the same. It's a good thing there are twenty in the pack because I'm using about one drill bit per minute of work. Once the bits get dull they won't cut and wander all over.Gonna look elsewhere.

Good bits. Use them to clean out-and slightly enlarge the orifice of pilot jets on small engine Honda clone carburetors. Cures the no-load hunting issues that these engines commonly have.
