Easy to install, no kinking when removing from the spool. I would recommend it, happy with my purchase.

I purchased 2000 feet of this product and now I have to pull it all up and replace it. It is not anything like the photo on the Amazon page. Just look at the core in the attached photos compared to Husqvarna wire on the left and with the photo on the Amazon page. That manufacture's picture is a false representation. The wire core is also made of poor quality like nothing I have ever seen in any stranded conductor. I work in aerospace and I have experience with plenty of wiring. It is also very fragile and brittle. The wire insulation is a highly plasticized polymer that provides little support for the stranded conductor. Any tensile force applied to the wire will cause the conductor to fracture and the insulation will stretch and turn white as shown. this is problematic because the wire core can fracture and the insulation will just stretch. Trying to trace a wire beak like this with an electronic sensor can be impossible. The wire is not compatible with Husqvarna terminals. The terminal in the photo shows how the wire just severed when the connector was installed. In the second attempt to install terminal, the gummy insulation simply stretched around the contact point and there was no continuity. The same problems occur with 3M connectors in the lines. They will either sever the wire or there's only a 50% chance that continuity is made when the splice is seated. This product is extremely poor quality and is misrepresented. It is not heavy duty and not comparable to any HD OEM product I have used. It failed during installation and it fails continuously in daily use. It is also very difficult to locate the failure when breaks. I now have to remove and replace my entire lawn robot boundary wire system.

This product comes on a cheap cardbaord spool that isn't sturdy enough to even stand up to shipping. When I opened it and took the plastic off, the spool was popped apart, but I tried to secure it back and I followed the instructions and cut the cutout on the box, etc. The wire ended up being a mess. I've been trying to untangle it for four hours and it seems like it's even worse than when I started. I think the company owes me for my time and a refund (I've decided to give up and send it back). For the price, they could attach a more heavy duty spool. This is heavy wire.*edit: second spool. I was very careful this time. I taped the box to reenforce it and didn’t even remove the spool to take the plastic off. The box started to fall apart almost immediately, and the top of the spool popped off about 500 yards in. I was going super slow and expected it so I managed to pop it back on, but from then on it constantly popped off again if I didn’t hold it down. This wire is great. They need to pack the larger quantities better.

Wire broke when winding it back on the spool. Do not use this with a cable layer. Might work if you just lay it on the ground but I wouldn't trust it.

You can pull wire into sheds with a little pull. Not recommended had 10 cuts before replacing with AL wire. Copper strand is for burying only.
