The 2 different styles of twist pins are not aesthetic but practical for various applications. I primarily use to keep covers on furniture in place. However, I was able to use the twist pins to keep thin area rug in place over existing carpet. The cost was very economical for the quantity and they seem to be made well.

These are perfect. I have an extra long 20†Wrap Around Bedskirt and these keep it perfectly in place. I have removed and repositioned them and had no issues. There are two different style clear heads on them, part are round and the others are a little clear flower. The two styles are packaged separately inside the cute little decorative container. These are a definite YES!
