Having a variety of sizes available has made my project so much easier. My only complaint is that the bags containing the bearings are not themselves labeled with sizes, making it easy to mix them up.

My original review is below. Since then I did some research and found out that the reason some steel items are not magnetic is because they are an alloy not made of iron, but may contain other metals such as nickel, which is not magnetic - but that doesn't make them inferior, in fact, they can be superior with properties such as resistant to rust and corrosion. Therefore I have more condidence in this product and I'm changing my rating from 4 to 5 stars!Original review: I got these ball bearings to use for my bike hubs while doing an overhaul. Unfortunately, my local bike shops don't carry loose ball bearings, only caged bearings. But when I received these I noticed a magnet doesn't pick them up, so it's a mystery to me what they're made of and whether they can hold up in my bike hubs. So the good news is they are available (arrived quickly, good price, and sizes in this kit match my bike ball bearings - 3/16" for front hubs and 1/4" for rear hubs).I'm going ahead and using them so hopefully they will work and are strong enough to replace the actual steel ball bearings installed in my bike by the manufacturer.

When I was working on my motorcycle , I lost one of the bearings. This was nice to have a bunch of options in sizing.

Conceptually awesome idea, in reality the 6. And 6.5mm were slightly mixed making working with them much more of a pain than I'd originally anticipated

I only needed one ball bearing to replace one that I had lost and the cost for the one was 1/4 of what this whole kit cost. I have plenty of spares now!
