About this item

  • Creeping Thyme Thymus Serpyllum is a robust, hardy perennial subshrub native to Europe and North Africa. Creeping Thyme seeds can be started indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost or directly outdoors in spring.
  • These seeds are very tiny so it's best to use the shaker method and mix your seeds with sand to spread, or mix your packet with 4 cups of peat and spread in your garden area. Thyme likes moist soil while germinating so don't let your soil dry out (water from below and cover pots with plastic wrap). These germinate very slowly and the difficult part is keeping them cool, moist, and exposed to light (during the day) for 30 days.
  • Or keep your pot/tray (with holes in the bottom) in a tray containing about 1" of water and cover lightly with plastic wrap. Keep your pot/tray under lights until germination. Thyme need a cool and moist environment to germinate.
  • Plant type: Perennial.Germination lighting: Light.Germination days:21-30 days.Maturation days:60 days.
  • Made in USA - It makes excellent for moms, adults and gardening box for men. Share with your family and friends its happiness from germination to flowering and fruiting. If the package is damaged, in insufficient quantity, or can not germinate, please contact us to replace it for you.

Be patient, as these take longer to germinate that one may think. Now they are growing so well!I started the seeds indoors under grow- lights, so I'm anxious to see how they transplant outside.I will update on that transition.

Just like the blue packet I bought, not a single seed sprouted. All duds. Everything from them is a complete waste of money.

Haven’t had the time to watch them creep yet. Very slow growth

By the time you realize the plants aren’t growing, the return period has already passed. Besides, how do you even return seeds that didn’t sprout?

Used some of package, seeds went well, sprouted, lived and flourished and going strong. Attempted to sprout second batch. For reasons unknown it was a NO GO, second batch never gave a hint of spouting.I clueless. Same basic conditions, same basic care. Just nothing second go around.

I spent 20 years eliminating my need to mow grass. The final space was along the street curb by the sidewalk. This has been growing well for six years now and appears to bloom at lease twice each season (Zone 7A) with a minimum of watering. It does creep, so I trim it off the sidewalk each October to make snow removal easier. It has been hardy and holds up well under snow.

None of these seeds grew and I know how to grow flowers. My wild flower mix I bought from Amazon is doing great and looks amazing. But these seeds didn't do anything.

This is such a small packet of seeds, it will hardly cover a 5x5 area!
