Got these for Ash Wednesday. They worked like expected.Pros+ Color. The ashes give a great color. Very dark which means you don't have to use very much.+ Consistency. There are no big chunks of palm branch in the ashes. Makes it easy to consistently mark the forehead.+ Value. This is a lot of ashes for the price. But they do just come in baggies. Nothing fancy.Cons+ My only complaint is that the ashes cake up a bit with a little bit of water. Getting the proper ratio of ash to liquid was a bit tricky and takes some time to figure out.

All I received was a bag of ash. I thought that this was a10 piece package. There are no containers to keep the ash in! I guess you have to buy those separately if that’s the cause you need to change the description and pictures!
