As you can see from the photos...this belt is NOT made with LEATHER. It is made from VERY-STIFF poly webbing...VERY-STIFF.....VERY-STIFF.....did I say...VERY-STIFF......if you want a flexible belt...this is NOT the belt for you. Also it is very SHORT. It barely fits around my waist (38"...) with my pants-on....

I need a much sturdier belt to replace my current nylon tool belt that just wrinkles upon the weight of all the tools on it. This is definitely a step up as the belt holds its shape and doesn't collapse and fold. So far it's doing well. Other than that, it's a fairly standard belt that doesn't have any extra bells and whistles. It fits me just fine, but I am only a 30" waist. For larger folks it might be too short.

Yes, this is an extremely sturdy belt of synthetic material. I wear a size 36 pants in the waist (yes, a combination of a beer gut and a bit of vanity sizing) and there is more than enough room to size much larger fellows or gals.Strong, tough, and the clasp mechanism is solid.Assuming one doesn't need or want precious "micro-adjustments" about the waist, this does hold easily a pound of steel and lead on one side, and it doesn't scream "CCP" like other tacticool belts, including those by bigger names.Good looking, as well...kind of a racing stripe motif...and sturdy as all get out.
