Seems to be a difference of opinion whether or not protection is needed when limbs are removed. Since this is a large wound, I decided to add protection to the wound. It is low so easy to monitor.

Our small (5" diameter) Raintree was blown over by Hurricane Milton, and we had to cut the top out of it. It tried to stand back up, so we dug some room for the roots to resettle, added some fertilized topsoil, and painted the sawn areas with Tree Wound Sealer. The tree looks like it will survive!

I applied it to a wound and months later it’s still holding strong while the tree is growing.

The product and brush was much smaller than the photo depicted. I can't speak to the effectiveness of the product because I did not us it before returning it. I feel the photo in the listing was deceptive.

Very small brush, but it worked well. I had two tree cuts to paint. The container is 1 1/2â€tall and 1 1/2†in circumstance. It was only half full.FYI for clean up , it is somewhat water soluble.The coverage is good and was adequate for my job. What I liked was it did not contain hydrocarbons (asphalt or solvent).
