Had to do research to find the right one and this was closest to factory that came up with. But worked perfectly with no issues. Fairly easy to install if mechanical.

You know when an appliance goes down, it is pailful. A few minutes on YouTube university and found a common problem with this appliance. Ordered the part, it was here the next day (Sunday) (unlike a repair person for $300+). Took 2 min to install and clean clothes again!

Direct replacement for washer pump for whirlpool washer and appears to be an OEM part. I own a Whirlpool Cabrio model WTW5500XWO and this item was a super easy fix with just a couple of tools. Been operating just fine for the last 5-6 months. If it went bad anytime soon, I would be very surprised.

I had this pump professionally installed when I suspected the drain pump was the cause of my Maytag Centennial washer not draining. My plan was to install myself, which would have saved even more $, but after seeing the process, I am glad I went with a pro. Check with your repair person first though - they may have different repair warranties if you provide your own parts. Also just a note - the part did come with some plastic bits broken but they weren't critical for installing. It's a heavy part so they probably should have more protective packaging. Only a week after install so far but it seems to be working.

This product was promising when first installed. It ran quiet and drained quickly. Then after three loads sounded like I was shaking a can of rocks. Removed the pump to make sure there wasn't debris in the pump, perfectly clean. The next load it couldn't finish pumping and I had to drain my washer with a shop vac.
