My wife's Jeep, through a code, YouTube helped me understand how to find the issue, and this pinpointed the part needed for replacement. Problem fixed. Then I was bored and tried in on my old S10 pickup, well dang, found two more leaks and ended up replacing al the vacuum lines on that old truck, amazing difference on how that old truck runs now.

I purchased it for an Evap code I had. I replaced the cap a couple of times, and it was still showing the same code. I thought it was the purge valve, but the code persisted.I bought this to identify where the leak was coming from, and it works really well and is very easy to use. In the end, after 3 min saw smoke coming out from the gas filler neck where the cap seats looks like is out of round and needed replacement.Great deal to detect leaks quick and easy

Works great have a small shop so use alot. Crow's Auto Repair on Facebook. Did have a hose inside come off once but was a easy fix

Best of the three smoke machines I have. Very happy with the density and volume of smoke produced. It is also nice not having to drag an air hose around to use it. Having a built in compressor, and only needing 12volts will make it handy for mobile use.

Works fine. Creates decent smoke. After I got it not sure I really needed it but may come in handy from time to time. 4stars because it was so spendy for what it is and how much I’ll really use it.

Not sure what other people are saying about low smoke but this thing is awesome. It showed me exactly where my air leaks were coming from. I have an 03 Tacoma with the 3.4L. I had a crack in the drivers side head and had to replace it. When I put it all back together I started getting a P0171 CEL. Normally that means I forgot to hook up a vacuum line but not this time. After spending a day taking the top back apart and verifying I had everything hooked up, I still had the code. I hooked up my vacuum gauge and verified, yep, big leak. I just couldn't track where it was coming from. Enter this machine. I hooked it up to the hose that goes to the brake booster and had smoke coming from under the plenum by the intake manifold. I just couldn't see where it was coming from. Taking everything back apart, I found another vacuum hose that went into the intake manifold and hooked up there. I then saw smoke coming from 2 of my fuel injectors (2 and 4). After fixing them I put everything back together and no more issues. Truck runs like she was 2 years old again.

Product does seem very nice, can be convenient for at home use. However unfortunately my smoke machine never worked right out of the package, no pump operation. Admittedly the item had been stored for about 10 months before first use, but was stored dry in the package. Unable to find how to get in touch with seller

Excellent tool for helping you to solving evap leak issues. I used this on a 2001 Toyota 4Runner Sr5. This machine produced and put out a decent amount of smoke in a short time. I find the built in compressor to be a very helpful feature as it allows for more portability of this great machine. The flow guages work well also. All in all I'm sure this unit will more than pay for itself in no time.
