These are the ones that work!

This is the first set of valve vacuum bags I’ve had that consistently keep their seal. I have several pumps-manual and electric-and it is hot or miss when trying to achieve a tight vacuum with most other bags of this type.I much prefer a vacuum sealing machine to this type of design, but these bag are just as good. I’ve used them for long term storage and Sous vide cooking, and they were up to the task.If you prefer bags of this type, these are very good.

I ordered these bags because why not, and I was tired of dealing with the standard sealing bags (that don't seal well) from my grocery store. There are two outstanding things about these bags: 1) I used the same automatic "sucker" mechanism on these as I do on all my other bags, and it took about 1/3 the time to get all the air out as it did for my other bags, and 2) Usually my other bags will give up the seal in about a day for dry goods (things like freeze-dried fruit, etc.) I'm already at a day and a half and the seal is still perfect on my bag of freeze dried mangos! I'm loving these! (I also use these for sous vide cooking and find them to be equally good!I noticed these come with a compressing clip to use to create the seal but I didn't use it - I just pressed the seam with my fingers, and all is very good. I suppose if your needed to, though, you could use the clip to get a good seal. It's simply not an issue for me.Also, the label area can get crumpled up in the suction, so you might want to consider a label that sticks on, if you usually label your products (which is admittedly a good idea).Honestly I can't find a THING to complain about with these bags. I'm delighted with them! They currently selling for $26 for the set and I think it's a very good price.

At first I was disappointed with these bags as they were not what I expected. I thought they would work with my standard vacuum sealer where the air is sucked out the top opening and then the top opening is sealed with heat. They do not work that way and if I ever had one I long ago lost the little vacuum tube for jars. I don’t know that I ever had the fitting that would work with these bags. However, I then discovered that my mason jar vacuum sealer has an attachment that works with these bags and it works great. The plastic one way valve on these bags works great. And the valve is fully submersible for cooking sous vide. The bags are relatively thick. I sealed up bone in chicken thighs (which are not huge puncture risks, but can be problematic) and the bag held tight. I also sealed up an onion and the bag shrunk tight around the onion. I haven’t had the bags long enough to test them for long term freezing, but I suspect that I will use these bags for shorter term storage, like keeping meat and chicken fresh for longer when I bring it home from the grocery store. (I don’t trust the store packaging to keep the meat fresh for long.). I love that they are reusable and easy to open and reseal.

Great quality and value. When I first received these bags I was a bit concerned that it wouldn't work with my vacuum that I have because the seal looked a little different than the other bags that I used, however these work just as well and does a great job allowing the vacuum to suck out air. I really like how many bags I got in this pack, with two different variety of sizes. You can never go wrong with having a larger bag, since it does vacuum up and shrink in size, but sometimes you just need a medium/smaller size bag for small things and I appreciate how this includes both sizes. I never use the included clip sealer because its so easy to just seal it by your hand and the bags feel very durable to use several times without worrying about losing its seal. Highly recommend these!

These bags are not too bad and do hold a lot but I wish they were not so stiff. I am new at this so I am trying to find ways to store food and use the freezing method more. These bags are helping me to do that and for the price, they are a great value. I am thinking that I may try all the various sizes and buy more. I know that it says there can be reused, but I will not be doing that.

These vacuum sealer bags are thick, high-quality, and seal perfectly with both my FoodSaver attachment and handheld sealer—no issues at all. I love using them for items I frequently access, like luncheon meats and cheeses, since they keep everything fresh without the need to cut and reseal like traditional vacuum bags. For long-term freezing, I still use cut-and-seal bags, but these are ideal for everyday use. With 30 bags (small and medium sizes: 8†x 10†and 10†x 13.8â€), the value is unbeatable. They feel sturdier than most, and the built-in label area is handy, though the included clamp isn’t something I personally need. Spacious, reliable, and worth the asking price.

You will need either a hand held vacuum sealer made for use with bags with valves, or an attachment for your regular vacuum sealer to get the most out of these bags. Given you have the right tool to vacuum out the air, these work great. I use them to store left overs in the freezer, as well as for storing blanched vegetables in the freezer. The zip seal seems to hold. They are easy to use and the assortment has two good sizes for food storage. One tip, make sure the valve is flat with nothing under it when you vaccum out the bag.
