I haven't decided yet where to put this, or what I'll use it for, so I can't speak to the weight capacity as far as holding any heavy fish tanks or anything. But the way that it's set up, I feel like it's got a lot of versatility to its potential uses. I'm considering putting it in my kitchen to add some extra counter space, and if I do that, the built-in extension cord will really come in handy there, as will the little metal hooks on the other side. The instructions don't use words to explain the steps, but the illustrations and numbers/letters used to label the different pieces make it really easy to assemble this stand. Just make sure you pay attention to which bolts are which. They make that pretty easy, too, though, by putting them in order of use along the strip of baggies holding the different pieces.I will say, though, particularly when you're assembling the very first few pieces, you'll want to not tighten the bolts fully just yet, because in the next step or two you'll have to add the support bars or whatever, and if you've already tightened the bolts all the way on the side pieces, you'll have to loosen them a bit in order to fit the support bars in.But that's not really that big of an issue, just something to keep in mind to make it a little easier. The instructions mention something about doing the assembly on a mat of some sort? It doesn't explain why, but I was already planning on putting it together on my bed anyway, so that kind of worked out. When it came to assembling one of the last pieces, which is the small wooden rectangle that holds the extension cord, it didn't fit exactly flush in its spot, so if you over-tighten it in order to make it flush, you might break it (possibly). So I just tightened the screws as much as I could while keeping the very slight gap even on both sides (it's minimal, maybe a millimeter or two, but still). If you use an electric drill with the necessary-sized allen bits, things will go a bit quicker, but I just used the allen wrenches provided (there are two different sizes).I did use my electric drill for the two screws needed to attach the extension cord to its wooden holder, because that's just a lot easier than trying to screw those ones in by hand.Anyway, the whole thing came together pretty quickly, with very little irritation, so that's a huge plus. The dark brown wood is really quite beautiful, too. I feel like this looks visually appealing and seems sturdy; I'm glad I got it.And while I won't be using it for any fish tanks, I might use it as a standing desk for work, or in the kitchen for extra counter and storage space, or in my bedroom to hold and store various things that need a home -- possibly my record player, printer, speakers, etc.Right now it's sitting in my bedroom holding a bunch of random stuff that I need to find a place for, so it's doing its job currently, holding a lot of bulky things that would otherwise be in my way. While I didn't spend money on this, I feel like the price is decent for the value of this desk/stand. It feels sturdy and well put together, with the added X-bracket on the back for additional support.I honestly wish I had a couple of these.

Got this to put in my office and it matches my office furniture perfect. I was looking for a stand to put my two small Betta tanks. I like that it has so many shelves and a metal basket drawer. It was very easy to assemble because it came with everything we needed, including the screwdrivers, which I thought was a nice touch. With my wife's help it only took about twenty minutes for us to put together. It is very sturdy and would definitely hold the much larger tanks it says it would. It is a very nice stand in my opinion.

I want to start out by saying that I do not own an aquarium. I ordered this stand because I thought it would be a perfect fit in my laundry room. I was not disappointed. It was easy to install, is very sturdy, and can handle a lot of weight. I use it to hold my laundry detergents, softeners, and dryer sheets. I like the size as it is not extremely large and only takes up a corner, on the furthest wall, in the room.

This aquarium stand is well-made and relatively easy to assemble. It's made of steel and attractive-looking MDF wood in a vintage brown finish that is accurate to the manufacturer's photos. I'm planning to use it for extra storage in a hallway so appreciate the size.

Multi purpose~ ! I got this to put in one of my offices for a microwave, Air fryer, Coffee maker and toaster! And it is perfect! I am cautious about how much current is pulled through the power strip, but it does seem to be working. The pull out basked is great for the pods for the coffee maker and holds everything that is needed. It is sturdy and works as it should. For the price, this would be better than buying a kitchen nook or island! I have others that have seen it and are doing the same thing! Great Product!
