How to calculating the right can liner size for Round Trash Can
- 1. Bag Width: Measure the diameter of the trash can. Multiply by 3.14 (pi), then divide by 2.
Example - Diameter: 18.7" → (18.7" × 3.14) / 2 = 30" (bag width)
- 2. Bag Height: Measure the height of the can. Add 4 inches for overhang. Add half the diameter to cover the bottom.
Example - Height: 23.5", Overhang: 4", Half Diameter: 9.5"
23.5" + 4" + 9.5" = 37" (bag height)
How to calculating the right can liner size for Square or Rectangular Trash Can
- 1. Bag Width: Measure the perimeter (sum of all four sides A + B + C + D). Divide by 2 to get the bag width.
Example - Perimeter: 86" → 86" ÷ 2 = 43" (bag width)
- 2. Bag Height: Measure the height of the trash can. Add 4 inches for overhang. Add half of the diagonal measurement to cover the bottom.
Example - Height: 35,5", Overhang: 4", Diagonal: 15"
35.5" + 4" + (15 / 2)" = 47" (bag height)

I typically use these to pack clothes, and to use for the bathroom trash collections. These aren't heavy duty bags, but they do get the job done for smaller tasks.

Big were not what I thought they would be and not thick enough. If you fill the bag with leaves and push down, the bag starts to rip.

We have been using these trash bags for several months now and are very happy with them. At 45 gallons, they are a size that can be used for many applications. Obviously they are good for trash...we have yet to have one tear, let alone leak. But we have used them for dirty laundry on camping trips, storing things in our attic and so much more. We even used them as ponchos during an unexpected rainstorm while we were camping.With 250 units in a pack, this is a really good value for the money.Recommended.

So disappointed in these trash bags. They are too small for my kitchen trash can. By the time they’re 3/4 full, the top of the bag starts falling into the can. At that point the bag is done. For all practical purposes, these are just 13 gallon trash bags. The seller is trying to sell them as 30 gallon trash bags, but I have a 30 gallon trashcan in my garage and I can tell you that these would not come anywhere close to fitting in that trashcan.They are not very strong either, it is pretty easy to poke a hole in the side of the bag with anything that has a pointed edge.Buyer beware, you are just not getting what you paid for on these.

We have to use clear bags for garbage where I live, and it has been excruciatingly difficult to find clear bags that are any more than garbage, themselves. Even though these bags are actually thinner than other, more "heavy duty" bags, they have outperformed anything I have used since the black bags.
