This kit is ideal for the bigger jobs with holes from .750" up to 1.437" ID. This superior grade of silicone is capable of withstanding temps up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit (315 Celsius) for at least 20 minutes and holds up to most chemicals. It is ultra tough yet flexible, reusable and will not crack, harden, shrink or break over time. I am a mechanic so I bought these to plug hydraulic, fuel, and oil lines when replacing parts on vehicles. They work great and aren't too hard to remove from the line.

My wife and I use these to cork off one end of PVC tubes that we pour resin molds into. It works great for our purpose, and does not stick to the cured resin. Wonderful and will buy again.

I bought these so I could vacuum test subsets of automotive air conditioning systems. They are great for the job. They are stiff enough so they don't get sucked down the lines.Unless you have an ACCO-style punch, don't try to drill holes in them. The silicone is extremely resilient, so a twist drill won't peel it. You'll end up with a hole that leaks but that can't accept the tube you wanted it for.
