I just bought my husband a book for Christmas, and when it showed up in the mail, the binding was completely broken. Was able to repair it with 1 of these. I don't have any special heat gun or tools to heat up the glue, but I do have a hair dryer that gets hot! I hate having books that are broken like that, and now I can repair them easier than using a bunch of tape like I normally do.

perfect for my book binding and repairs. They melt easy under a heat gun and evenly as well while providing a lot of good, extra strength the spines need. Some of my books are old and these help quite a bit. I do wish they were a touch wider or thinner though as sometimes I have to cut them lengthwise to make them fit.
