I GOT THESE TO PUT UP A COUPLE SAIL SHADES IN THE BACK YARD . WHEY WORK GREAT. HOLD TIGHT . AND KEEP LINES TONT AND HOLD WELL. LOOK OF NICE QUALITY AND SHOULD LAST A LONG TIME. IVE FOUND MANY OTHER USES FOR THESE . AND THEY FUNCTION WELL AND WERE AND ARE A GOOD BUY FOR THE MONEY....

So, these are a good quality and pretty simple design, however, they are a bit of a headache to use. I guess it depends on your application, but I was using these to hang up outdoor curtains on a braided cable. I'm used to using crosby style clamps, so it was a bit different. The metal tab turns a bit with the bolt, so it sometimes misaligns and then the rope slips. Once you get them fastened, they hold up great, but I recommend a couple people for the job.

These work well, once in place I have not had the cables slip or come free. They are stainless so they are durable, maintain a clean look once installed while being resistant to corrosion. When you order these please know that they are sized for raw cable...Coated cable will not be the same diameter as listed being that the size is for the actual cable and not the O.D. of the cable with sheeting installed. Using these is a breeze, one bolt secures everything and locks down in seconds.

Great clamps, works well with 1/8" coated stainless cable.

I like these so much more than U bolts! It does have a tiny nut, so make sure you do this somewhere it can't drop and be lost forever! But once tightened down, it holds the line very well and looks much neater than the typical U bolts clamps you would use.
